I hope you are all doing well! For those of you who would like to enter Oak Bay Recreation’s New Year’s Classic tournament, please note that you must have an updated (2016) Tennis BC membership ($46) to participate.

If you plan on being a member of Saanich Tennis Club again next year, the Tennis BC membership is included in your STC membership, so please:
- Do NOT pay the $46 Tennis BC membership fee for this tournament
- Email membership@tennisbc.org (and cc me at president@saanichtennisclub.org) the following or similar:
“I am entering the New Year’s Classic tennis tournament this week. My Tennis BC membership should be activated for 2016 since I am a Saanich Tennis Club member and I will be renewing my membership with STC in January. Please confirm when my Tennis BC membership is activated and confirm my Tennis BC membership number. Thanks!”
If you have any friends who are likely to join this tournament and are interested in joining Saanich Tennis Club in 2016, please share this information with them. You will be entered in a draw for a free STC membership in 2017 if you have recruited a new 2016 STC member!
Lastly, our 2016 membership registration forms are available at our Membership page. Payment by cheque is available now and online registration will be available in the near future.
